Counselling from the comfort of your own home or wherever you happen to be. It's an excellent alternative to having to travel anywhere. It's also great for you if you have any issues with mobility or with leaving home for any reason.
Online and telephone counselling has been researched and proven to be just as effective as face-to-face.

A great way to have counselling if you like to write things down rather than talk. Also really flexible to fit around your life.

Counselling by video. Convenient, no travelling, wherever you're comfortable.
I'll send an invite link and away we go.

Sometimes the simplest way is the best. No internet needed, easy and reliable. Great if you like to focus on talking and listening.
A little bit about Online and Telephone counselling
Very similar to being in the same room with you, video and phone counselling is effective and convenient. You can be somewhere you feel comfortable and secure without having to travel anywhere or come into contact with anyone.
I also offer email counselling. Perfect for you if you prefer to write things down rather than talk. You can write up to 1000 words and I will spend the usual 50 minutes responding to you. This means you can fit counselling into your day - or night! Write when things come to you. It also means you have a written record of your counselling to come back to and reflect on.
If you find you have difficulty leaving the house for any reason (mobility, childcare, fears) it is a really good way of getting help. Also great to fit into a busy day, no need to spend time travelling.
Online and phone counselling wasn't something I had considered before Covid - but we have all had to adapt and change how we do things. I have been really pleased how effective it is and the feedback I've had. As I write this September 2021, lots of people are still choosing these options as it really works, fits around busy lives and in fact is better for some people.
